ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to 1/4

direct the 1st respondent to transfer the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 10.06.2024 on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tenkasi, to any other officer for investigation and to file the final report.

2. According to the petitioner, he lodged a complaint on 10.06.2024 to the second respondent against one Sattanadhan and the petitioner has also produced all the available materials to the second respondent, but the second respondent has not taken any steps. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation dated 03.02.2025 to the 1st respondent requesting to transfer the investigation from the 2nd respondent to any other officer for proper investigation and the same has not been considered. Therefore, he has filed this petition.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the complaint of the petitioner dated 10.06.2024 was considered and the same was closed on 27.06.2024. Thereafter, no any representation dated 03.02.2025 was received by the respondent police. Thereafter, nothing survives for further adjudication.

4. Since the prayer of the petitioner is to transfer the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 10.06.2024 and the same was already 2/4

considered and closed by the 2nd respondent on 27.06.2024, nothing survives for further adjudication. As far as the representation dated 03.02.2025 is concerned, the respondents have denied the receipt of the same. However, the main complaint itself was closed on 27.06.2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved by the closure of the complaint, he can take appropriate steps in the manner know to law. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
