This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Nos.2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners under the garb of conducting enquiry without due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Mr.S.Ganesan, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Special Cell, Madurai City, is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Shanmuganathan against the petitioners, a petition enquiry is pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the above, the petitioners are directed to participate in the enquiry and during enquiry, they shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.
