ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection for the construction of a 1/4

compound wall on the petitioner's house property situated at Door Nos. 16A, 16B, and 16C, North Ratha Veethi, Aathoor, Thoothukudi District.

2. It is submitted that the compound wall was damaged by one Balakrishnan. The said Balakrishnan is a neighbour and has no right over the present property. If the said Balakrishnan has any claim, he is at liberty to approach the appropriate Court. He cannot take the law into his own hands. Therefore, the respondent police are directed to provide adequate police protection to enable the petitioner to put up the compound wall.

3. With these directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
