: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to measure the land in S.No.588/16, Achanthavilthan Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District on the basis of the representation dated 20.04.2018 within the stipulated time which may be framed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to measure the land in S.No.588/16, Achanthavilthan Village, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District on the basis of the representation dated 20.04.2018 within the stipulated time.

2.Heard Mr.S.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Aayiram K.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the respondents. 3.By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would

submit that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2018 and pass an order within a time that may be fixed by this Court.

5.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer made before this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's contention in the representation, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:- "The second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.04.2018, after issuing notice to the neighboring land owners and others, who may have interest and to take appropriate action and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
