O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Eraniel, to dispose of the case in C.C.No.116 of 2012. 2.According to the petitioner, the occurrence took place on 01.09.2011 at 8.00 p.m. and a charge sheet has been filed before the Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Eraniel, and the same was taken on file on 02.03.2012 and thereafter, the trial has not commenced. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Criminal Original Petition for the relief stated supra.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the respondent police will co-operate for speedy disposal of the said case.

4.Considering the submissions of both parties, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.116 of 2012 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
