O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.314 of 2008. 2.According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the case has been registered in the year 2006 and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.314 of 2008 by the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel. Further, three witnesses were examined on the side of the prosecution and thereafter, no one was examined and the case was adjourned from time to time. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Criminal Original Petition for the relief stated supra.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that already three witnesses were examined on the side of the prosecution and the case is posted for further evidence. 4.Considering the submissions of both parties and taking into consideration of the fact that the criminal case is of the year 2008, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directs the learned Principal District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, to dispose of C.C.No.314 of 2008 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
