This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 29.09.2017 to the first respondent and to conduct fair and impartial investigation in accordance with law, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has already been registered in Crime No.23 of 2018 under Sections 120-B, 406 and 420 IPC.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
