(This petition was heard through the Video Conferencing) This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents No.1 to 3 to grant an extension of 60 days time (after resolved lockdown) for remit the scrap tender bidding balance amount in sale order No.4 (Lot No.6), sale order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.6340 of 2020 No.5 (Lot No.7) and sale order No.6 (Lot No.8) without any penal interest or forfeiting earnest money deposit (EMD) amount in the pandemic situation of Covid-19 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 23.03.2020.

2.Heard Mr.D.S.Haroon Hasheed, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.M.S.Johnny Basha, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner has placed before this Court, the proceedings of the respondents, dated 08.09.2020 and submitted that the respondents have granted time for remitting the balance amount. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has also paid the balance amount and has also taken possession of the scrap, which was sold under the auction.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
