PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, to to punish the contemnors / Respondents for willful disobedience of the order passed by this Honourable High Court made in W.P.(MD).No.16835 of 2020 dated 04.09.2023.

The respondents submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with and that G.O.No.477, Revenue and Disaster Management Department (Urban Land Ceiling), dated 04.06.2026, has been issued by the Government. However, the petitioner submitted that the consequential order based on the said Government Order has not been passed by the respondents.

2. Therefore, the respondent is strictly directed to pass the consequential order and implement the said Government Order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case if said Government Order 2/4

has not been implemented by the respondents, the petitioners are at liberty to re-open the contempt petition.
