ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.SRIMATHY, J.) The present Writ Petition is filed to quash the impugned order, dated 30.01.2025 passed by the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to issue the Hindu Malai Vedan Community Certificate (Scheduled Tribe) to the petitioner.

2.Heard Mr.Henri Tiphagne, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ashok, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.The specific contention of the petitioner is that the impugned order, dated 30.01.2025 was passed without considering the Anthropology's report. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to set aside the impugned order dated 30.01.2025 passed by the second respondent. Accordingly, the impugned order dated 30.01.2025 passed by the second respondent is set aside. The authority concerned is directed to consider the petitioner's case, in the light of anthropology report, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
