Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 13.07.2018 during the night time from 07.00p.m.,to 12.00 a.m., on the eve of "Sri Kaliamman Temple and Pagavathiamman Temple" situated in Periyanayagi Sathiram, Ariyavur Post, Srirengam Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2018 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to grant permission and adequate police protection to conduct Adal Padal Programme on 13.07.2018 during the night time from 07.00p.m.,to 12.00 a.m., on the eve of "Sri Kaliamman Temple and Pagavathiamman Temple" situated in Periyanayagi Sathiram, Ariyavur Post, Srirengam Taluk, Trichy District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has made a representation before the second respondent on 04.07.2018 to seek permission to conduct Adal Padal programme in front of "Sri Kaliamman Temple and Pagavathiamman Temple". 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that if permission is granted to conduct the Adal Padal programme in front of the temple, it would cause inconvenience to the public and the villagers. If the petitioner will choose alternative place to conduct the programme, the representation will be considered in accordance with law.

5.The learned counsel for the petitioner undertook that he will make a fresh representation to the respondent to identify the alternative place to conduct the aforesaid programme. 6.In the light of the above said submissions, the present writ petition cannot be entertained and is liable to be dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent and if such representation is made, the same shall be considered by the second respondent in accordance with law. 7.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
