This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct the survey, demarcate and fix the boundaries in respect of petitioners property comprised in S.No 1934/2 of an extent of 0-3-20-0 Ares situated at Thimmaraya Samuthiram, Ward NO 2, Block No. 40 Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District on the basis of the petitioner's application registered vide No. 2025/0178/15/000606 dated 10.11.2025.

The petitioner seeks the indulgence of this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a survey and demarcate the boundaries of the aforementioned property, as requested in his application dated 10.11.2025. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite submitting the application on 10.11.2025, no action has been taken by the authorities. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 2/4

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 10.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in compliance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
