O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide Electricity Service Connection to petitioner's house in Door No.60P/1/9, Ward-9, Bodi Main Road, T.Sindalachery, T.Meenatchipuram, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District.

2. The petitioner claims that she is a physically challenged person suffering from 100% disability and that she is the owner of the subject property. The petitioner's grievance is that, despite paying all requisite fees and deposits amounting to Rs.5,405/-, the respondents have not considered her online application for providing an electricity service connection to her dwelling house. Aggrieved by this, the petitioner has now filed this Writ Petition.

3. In response, the learned Standing Counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents, submitted that the third respondent will duly 2/5

consider the online application submitted by the petitioner and a decision will be taken within a period of four weeks.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 18.02.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is further made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the third respondent to consider the same on its own merits.
