This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's Association at Palankottai based on the complaint on 31.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the second respondent has now registered a case in Cr.No.170 of 2016 for the offence under Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Open Place (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act, 1959 and it is under investigation.
