ORDER

The petitioners allege that they are being harassed at the hands of the respondent.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) states that the first petitioner's son Abishek is involved in a robbery case and his rank is A2. It appears that the other accused have already been arrested and they were released on bail. The said Abishek is said to be absconding. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) categorically states that none of the petitioners herein are in any way involved the offence and that, only to find out the whereabouts of the absconding accused, the police are making search of the houses of the petitioners herein.

3. I make it clear that while the police are at liberty to make such visits and also to search the petitioner's house, they will not harass the petitioners herein in any manner. 4.With this direction and clarification, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
