Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu namely Kalirajan, Son of Chinnasamy, aged about 21 years before this Court and set him at liberty and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to trace out and produce the detenu by name Kalirajan, Son of Chinnasamy.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody in connection with Crime No.194 of 2015, Srivilliputhur Town Police Station registered under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. In order to support the contention putforth on the side of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ respondents, certified copy of remand report has been filed wherein it has been clearly stated that the detenu has been arrested and remanded to custody.

4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
