O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to instruct the third respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.204 of 2016 on the file of the fourth respondent and to file charge sheet.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, the FIR has been registered in Crime No.204 of 2016 on 09.12.2016 for the offences punishable under Section 294b of IPC and Section 3(1)(r)(s) of SC/ST Prevention of Atrocities Amendment Act and that the investigation has not been done effectively and therefore, directions may be given to the investigating officer to expedite the investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the case was registered on 09.12.2016 and the investigation is in progress.

5.Considering the fact that the case was registered on 09.12.2016 and the entire facts and circumstances of the case, this Court issues the following direction:- "The third respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.204 of 2016 and file final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." 6.This Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
