Side) appearing for the respondent.

2.The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of I.P.C., in Crime No.455 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.5598 of 2020 3.The petitioners herein during the lock down period has blocked the road and was consuming liquor. When this was questioned by the de-facto complainant who was coming in his van, they have attacked him.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the State strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to these petitioners on the ground that these petitioners are creating communal disturbance in the locality and had unnecessarily picked quarrel with the de-facto complainant and attacked him. 5.Taking note of the serious objection made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
