Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to produce the person or body of the detenu by name Maheswari, daughter of Mathar, aged 23 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Maheswari, aged 23 years.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Gandharvakottai Police Station has produced the detenu.

4. The detenu is a blind person and her mother has also made her appearance.

5. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous.
