ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.01.2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 4 of the TamilNadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998 in Crime No.04 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 17.01.2026 at about 08.30p.m., the petitioner attempted to commit penetrative sexual assault against the victim girl. Hence, the case.
3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. However, the petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is completed and that the investigating agency is going to file the final report. The statement of the victim girl under Section 183 of the BNSS has been recorded. Hence, he opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.
5. In view of the above circumstances, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition at this stage and also considering the nature and gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, after filing charge sheet, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report in accordance with law. (K K R K J) 18.03.2026 gvn 3/4
