[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the daughter of one Arumugam, S/o.Ramasamy, aged at 60 years. He has been found missing from 06.12.2014. In this regard, a case has been registered in Crime No.584 of 2014 for 'man missing', on the file of the second respondent. The case is under investigation. In those circumstances, the petitioner has come up with this petition, seeking a direction for the production of Mr.Arumugam. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and we have also perused the records carefully.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation, in Crime No.584 of 2014, has taken in a right direction and every possible steps have been taken by the second respondent to locate the detenu, Mr.Arumugam.

4. Since the investigation is going on in a right direction and since there is no allegation of illegal detention, we are inclined to dismiss this petition, however, leaving it open for the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
