O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners to quash the F.I.R in Crime No.183 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent-police.

2. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents no.1 and 2 would submit that already they completed the investigation and filed the final report before the PCR Court, Thoothukudi and the same is pending in Special S.C.No.45 of 2024. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. Since the prayer sought for in the petition is to quash the F.I.R and already the respondent-police no.1 and 2 have filed the charge sheet as against the petitioners and even as per the F.I.R, there are some allegations to constitute the offences, it is for the petitioners to take appropriate steps to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, Page No. 2 of 4

if they are aggrieved.

4. In view of the same, preserving the liberty of the petitioners to challenge the final report in the manner known to law, this criminal original petition is closed. Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petition is also closed.
