PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the third respondent to grant incentive increment to the petitioner for acquiring M.Phil Degree along with other consequential benefits within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(through video conference) Heard Mr.T.Aswin Rajasimman, Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, Learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

2.Though the Writ Petition has been filed seeking for direction to the Third Respondent to grant incentive increment to the Petitioner for acquiring M.Phil Degree along with other consequential benefits, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.7571 of 2021 that the Petitioner would be satisfied if his representation dated 10.03.2021 made to the Third Respondent in that regard is disposed within a time frame stipulated by this Court and would confine his claim to that extent.

3.Having regard to the aforesaid submission made, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim made by the Petitioner, requires the Third Respondent to dispassionately consider the claim made by the Petitioner in his representation dated 10.03.2021, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to him and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law, communicate the decision taken under written acknowledgment and file report of such compliance before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court by 30.06.2021. 4.In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. No costs.
