ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the retired Special Grade Conductor who attained superannuation from the respondents/transport Corporation on 30.06.2018.

2.According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the retirement benefits were disbursed only on 31.08.2019 seeking interest for belated disbursement of retirement benefits. The petitioner has sent a representation on 05.05.2022 to the respondents which has been acknowledged by them. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the above said fact, the respondents herein are directed to pay the interest at the rate of 6% per annum from 01.07.2018 till 30.08.2019 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
