ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the retired conductor of the respondents/Transport Corporation seeking a mandamus to direct the authorities to pay interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits.

2.The perusal of the typed set of papers indicates that the petitioner had attained the superannuation on 31.05.2018 and terminal benefits were disbursed only on 31.08.2019. The petitioner has sent a representation on 05.02.2022, seeking interest for the belated disbursement. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the above said fact, the respondents herein are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% for the period from 01.06.2018 till 30.08.2019, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
