Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenu namely Janani, daughter of C.Ravi, aged about 17 years before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Janani, aged 17 years, daughter of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.
3. The second respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Checkanoorani Police Station has produced the detenu and she has been identified by petitioner. The detenu has expressed her stand that she is not willing to go with the petitioner/her father. Under the said circumstances, she has to be kept in a Home as stated infra.

4. In fine, this Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of on the basis of the observation made earlier. It is directed to house the detenu in
Vidiyal Home, No.21, Kennet Nagar, Muthupatti East, Near Palanganatham, Madurai - 625 003 till the detenu attains majority. During interregnum period, if there is any change in the mind of the detenu, liberty is given to file fresh petition.
