This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Inspector of Police, Melapalayam Police Station, Tirunelveli District, to register the petitioner's complaint dated 23.03.2018 as an FIR.

2. Heard Mr.R.Anand, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that a civil dispute is pending between the parties in O.S.No.513 of 2011 and therefore, after the detailed enquiry, the said complaint was closed by recording the reason that the dispute is purely civil in nature.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the civil Court.

In the light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the competent civil Court, if he is so advised.
