ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petitioner, who was arrested on 18.08.2016 for offences punishable under Sections 8(C) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Cr.No.222 of 2016, on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that petitioner was in possession of 5 kg of Ganja.

3.Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that there is no previous case against the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond in a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Special District Sessions Court for EC and NDPS Act, Cases, Madurai,

and on condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily twice at 10.00 a.m., and 5.00 p.m., for a period of three weeks and thereafter, the petitioner shall be available for interrogation by the respondent police as and when required.
