PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying this Court to call for the records of the charge sheet in CC No.55 of 2018 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam and quash the same as illegal as against the petitioner.

ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition is coming on for orders on this day under the caption "Extension of time" and upon perusing earlier order of this Court dated 18.04.2022, and the requisition letter submitted by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam in D.No.117/2023 dated 31.01.2023,through Principal District Judge,Thanjavur seeking further extension of 2 months time for dispose of the case in C.C.No.55/2018 on the file of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, this Court made the following order:- This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time to dispose of the case in C.C.No.55 of 2018. 2.This Court, by order, dated 18.04.2022 directed the Court below to dispose of C.C.No.55 of 2018, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

Now the Court below seeks further two months time to dispose of the said case. 3.Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Judge, this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, two months time is extended for disposing the case in C.C.No.55 of 2018, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
