PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to expedite the trial within a time frame as fixed by this Honourable Court in C.C.No.87 of 2020 pending before learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.III (FTC) Karaikudi. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Sivakumar

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.III (FTC) Karaikudi to expedite the trial pending in C.C.No.87 of 2020 and to complete the trial within a stipulated time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress.

3.. Under such circumstances , there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.III (FTC) Karaikudi to dispose the case pending in CC No. 87 of 2020 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this court after completion of the proceedings. Further the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
