This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the second respondent to rectify the computerised patta in Survey Nos.111/8, 111/9, 114/1 equaling to Town Survey Numbers 172, 173 and 174 measuring a total extent of 1 acre 31 cents in Madakkulam Group, Tirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2022 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.According to the petitioner, in the computerised patta issued in favour of the petitioner, referred to supra, the name of his father has been wrongly mentioned as Sundaram whereas his father's name is Subramanian Chettiar. In such circumstances, he has given a representation dated 14.03.2022 to the respondents seeking for rectification of the mistake. Since his representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Heard Mr.I.Saliyakhan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

W.P.[MD]No.6210 of 2022 4.The petitioner has filed documents along with this writ petition which includes the patta which requires correction according to him. It is the contention of the petitioner that his father's name is Subramanian Chettiar whereas in the computerised patta his father's name is wrongly mentioned as Sundaram. The petitioner has given a representation on 14.03.2022. Admittedly, the said representation has not been considered till date. 5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the representation of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.Accordingly, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.

2022 seeking for rectification of the computerised patta issued in respect of Survey Nos.111/8, 111/9, 114/1 equaling to Town Survey Numbers 172, 173 and 174 measuring a total extent of 1 acre 31 cents in Madakkulam Group, Tirupparankundram Taluk, Madurai District and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
