ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to complete the investigation pursuant to Crime No.41 of 2016, 18.01.2016 and file a final report within a stipulated time. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of eight months from the date of registration of the case, the second respondent did not take any efforts to file a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the second respondent requires six months time to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.41 of 2016.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.41 of 2016 before the Court concerned within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
