This petition is filed to call for the records in M.C.No.5 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri and quash the same in respect of the petitioner.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
3.The petitioner is in-law of the respondent. Since allegations have been made against the petitioner also, this court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.5 of 2016 in respect of the petitioner.
4.In fine, this petition is dismissed. However, the appearance of the petitioner before the trial court is dispensed with and she is directed to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri as and when required. Consequently, connected C.M.P.No.8650 of 2016 is closed.
