Seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.448 of 2016 before the concerned forum, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Mr.C.Mahalingam, Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Puliankudi Police Station, is present in Court today. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in Crime No.448 of 2016 has been completed and the case has been closed as mistake of fact.

3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to serve RCS notice on the defacto complainant and file the same before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
