This petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to survey and demarcate the properties located in Old Survey No.226 and New Survey No.546/1, Pugalur Taluk Aravakuruchi Circle, Chinnatharapuram, Karur District for the extent of 0-1.7300 as per the Application No.In 2025/N123/14/003884 dated 19.09.2025.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.It is evident from the records that the petitioner's application has already been considered by the 3rd respondent. The property was surveyed on two sides on 22.12.2025; however, the remaining side could not be surveyed due to objections raised by the neighboring landowner. Therefore, the 3rd respondent 2/6

has sought police protection to complete the survey of the land, based on the communication dated 02.03.2026.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to conduct the survey after issuing notice to both the petitioner and rival claimants. if necessary, seek police protection, the concerned police station shall provide police protection to survey the land. Also, the Court is directing the 3rd respondent to adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures:

a. The third respondent shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.

b.After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.

c. If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
