: Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to instruct the respondents a) to issue a notification to all Indian Embassies in abroad that full body checkup medical certificate is necessary for those who wants to get visa to come to India.

b) that the Direct Indians who are working in abroad to produce full body checkup medical certificate at the time of returning to India.

c) to set up a medical team with latest medical technology in all international Airports in India.

d) by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2010.

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.,) It is seen that the Government of India has put in place a robust mechanism under 'VANDE BHARAT' Mission for evacuation of Indians stranded abroad and while bringing them into the Country, they are medically examined and are kept in compulsory quarantine. 2/4

2. Mr.K.K.Ramesh, petitioner / party-in-person, contended that even in the future, such a scheme must be made permanent.

3. In the opinion of this Court, a direction, as prayed for, cannot be granted, as the prayer, indeed, is an omnibus one and there are several stakeholders, whose views should have to be elicited before the Government puts in place a protocol to deal with international passengers.

Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
