ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 498(A), 506(i) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No. Not known of 2018 on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that these petitioners gave torture to the de-facto complainant by demanding more dowry. Hence the de-facto complainant lodged the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the de-facto complainant, enquiry has been conducted and the same is pending and the matter has been referred to the District Level Committee for proper decision. Hence, this anticipatory bail petition is pre-mature one. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the petition enquiry is pending, the respondent police is directed not to harass the petitioners 2 and 3, as they are senior citizens and as against 1st petitioner/husband this petition is dismissed. sd/- 03/05/2018 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
