O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] It is the grievance of the petitioner that respondent Nos.7 and 8 are illegally quarrying in lands adjacent to certain patta lands the survey numbers of which have been given in the Writ Petition. In support of the prayer in the Writ Petition, the petitioner has stated that he gave a representation dated 20.05.2020 to the authorities concerned to take appropriate action, but to no avail.

2. However, when the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.K.Chellapandian, learned Additional Advocate General brought to the notice of this Court the actual representation that was given by the petitioner dated 20.05.2020 to the authorities, which substantially differs from the one that has been filed in the typedset of papers.

3. We also called Mr.Azhagar, Tahsildar, Ettayapuram, by audio-call and when we questioned him, he stated that there is absolutely no illegal quarrying and that he is also ready, if the Court appoints an Advocate Commissioner to inspect the said site.

4. In view of the fact that the petitioner has not come to this Court with clean hands, this Writ Petition is dismissed. The copy of the actual representation dated 20.05.2020 produced by the learned Additional Advocate General shall form part of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
