Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the cultural programms and sports events from 03.05.2018 to 06.05.2018 on the eve of "Indhira Vizha" in the petitioner's village viz., Vengaloor, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.05.2018 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

This Writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the cultural programme and sports events from 03.05.2018 to 06.05.2018 on the eve of "Indhira Vizha" in the petitioner's village viz., Vengaloor, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 01.05.2018.
