Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the second respondent to record the 161(3) statement of the petitioner and other witnesses immediately and alter the First Information Report in Crime No.42 of 2017 and further direct the 1st respondent to Monitor the Investigation in Cr.No.42 of 2017 pending on the file of the second respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to record the 161(3) statement of the petitioner and other witnesses immediately and alter the First Information Report in Crime No.42 of 2017.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the respondent police have already filed closure report in this case before the Executive Magistrate, Thiruverumbur.

3. This procedure followed by the police is in violation of the code of criminal procedure. The respondent police is directed to file final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
