ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2022, seeking for rectification of his patta bearing patta No.1529 of Karuppur Village, Manapparai Taluk, 2.According to the petitioner, in the patta bearing patta No.1529 issued in his favour, the subdivision number is wrongly mentioned as '490/4R' instead of '490/1R', which is the correct entry to be made. He has given a representation on 12.02.2022, to the respondents seeking for necessary correction. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3.Heard Mr.K.S.Kathiravan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.S.Jeyapriya, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the 4th respondent.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2022, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2022, seeking for rectification of the mistake in patta No.1529 for the property situated at Karuppur Village, Manapparai Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, by removing the subdivision number '490/4R' and substituting the same by subdivision number '490/1R' and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the aforesaid directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
