O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the father of one Ms.Sandhiya, aged about 17 years. She is deaf and dumb. On 04.01.2015, She went to Thirupparankundram Temple for girivalam. But, thereafter, she has been missing. In this regard, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.7 of 2015 for 'girl missing' and the same is under investigation.

2. It is brought to our notice that even pamphlets have been issued by the respondent police showing the photograph of Ms. Sandhiya for seeking information. But so far, no information has been obtained about her whereabouts. But, however, possible steps are taken to locate her. Having regard to the above submission and having regard to the fact that there is no allegation of any illegal detention and since the investigation is taken in a right direction, we are inclined to dismiss this petition.

3. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, if need be, the 2nd respondent shall do the investigation expeditiously. Sd/- Assistant Registrar /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
