O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order of the 2nd respondent dated 08.12.2025 and to direct the respondents to reassess the property tax for Petitioners property by classifying it under D Zone in the light of the circular passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No. M.V. 1/39580/2007 dated 28.06.2012 and petitioner's representation dated 04.01.2026.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted representation to the 2nd respondent for reassessment of the property tax. However, the 2nd respondent has passed 2/4

the impugned enhancement working sheet. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2, would submit that within a considerable period, the representation would be considered.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation for reassessment of the tax and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
