Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the 2nd respondent to secure and produce the person or body of the detenu petitioner's son, K.Santhana Karuppiah, son of Kattathevan, aged 23 years, before this Court and set him at libertyforthwith.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner is the father of one Mr.K.Santhana Karuppiah, aged 23 years, on the allegation, he has been found missing from 10.04.2015, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is stated by the respondents that in connection with the same, a compliant has been received and a case has been registered in Crime No.173 of 2015 for 'man missing' and the same is under investigation. The investigation has revealed that he eloped with one Sorna Devi. In respect of missing of Sornadevi, a petition has been received from her mother and the same is also under enquiry.

4. Having regard to the above facts, we do not find any reason to issue further direction in this matter. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
