Section 439(1)(b) of Cr.P.C., to modify the condition in so far as the direction to appear and stay at Melur and to sign before the the Inspector of Police, Melur, vide order dated 08.03.2022 in Crl.M.P.No.947 of 2022 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai and may be directed the petitioners to appear before the respondent's station.

O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, in Crl.M.P.No.947 of 2022, dated 08.03.2022, directing the petitioners to stay at Melur and sign before the Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station daily at 10.00 am and 05.00 pm for 30 days and thereafter, they shall appear and sign before the Inspector of Police, respondent Police Station, daily at 10.00 am until further orders.

2. It is evident from the records that the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai, in Crl.M.P.No.947 of 2022, dated 08.03.2022, has granted bail with the above conditions. Aggrieved by the said order, the petitioner has filed the above petition, seeking modification of the condition.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of the offence alleged, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai and the petitioners are directed to appear before the Inspector of Police, Thirunagar Police Station, daily at 10.00 am until further orders and the other conditions imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Madurai shall remain unaltered. The petitioners are at liberty to approach the concerned Court for further relaxation or modification. 4.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
