O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying this Court to direct the respondent-Police to investigate the case in Crime No.705 of 2012, pending on the file of the respondent and further to direct him to file the final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondentState and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is seen that a case was registered on the basis of the complaint lodged by the Petitioner before the respondent-Police in Crime No.705 of 2012, for the offence under Sections 420 and 421 of IPC. On the ground that there was no further progress and proper investigation by the respondent-Police, this Petition is filed for a direction as stated supra.

arrested on 14.4.2017 and remanded. It was further stated that the investigation is almost completed and final report was prepared on 4.5.2017 and it would be soon filed.

5.Hence, recording the above said statement, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and a direction is issued to the respondent-Police to file the final report in Crime No.705 of 2012 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
