ORDER

The present petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection by considering his representation, dated 26.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, there is a property dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent and thereby, the third respondent threatened the petitioner and caused life threat and thereby he lodged a complaint and also sent a representation on 26.02.2025 to the respondents for police protection and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents would submit that the representation of the 2/5

petitioner is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and dispose of within 15 days.

4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the third respondent inclined to dispose of this petition by recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents and directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 26.02.2025 within a period of 15 days from the date of this order after giving opportunity to both the parties in accordance with law.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 12.03.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes BTR 3/5
