[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] The prayer in the Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to transfer the petitioner's husband by name Nisthanth son of Selvaraj aged about 34 years from Madurai Central Prison to Palayamkotti Central Prison based on the representation dated 21.01.2026 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to dispose the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 21.01.2026 and pass orders on own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition (Crl.) stands disposed of. No costs.
