Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the second respondent to produce the body and person of the detenu namely Vergin Mary, aged about 27 years wife of the petitioner before this Court and set her at liberty and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to trace out and produce the detenu by name Vergin Mary, aged 27 years, wife of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel.

3. The second respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Karungal Police Station, Kanyakumari District has produced the detenu and she has been identified by the petitioner.

4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves to be dismissed.

5. In fine, this Habeas Corpus Petition deserves dismissal and accordingly is dismissed.
