(Cause title suo motu amended vide order dated 05.04.2022 in W.P. (MD).No.6231 of 2022) Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to perform Kumbabishekam in Arulmigu Sri Krishna Swami Temple, Alwarcoil, Kannattuvilai Post, Kanyakumari District, in the scheduled date on 06.09.2022 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.03.2022 in the light of the request made by the third respondent dated 18.11.2019 and the request made in Na.Ka.No.80/2019 by the Thanthiri Bramashree Naryanaguru Ramaru in Ref.No.Asst/322/2021, dated 07.12.2021 within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
It is the case of the petitioner that the Kumbabishekam was to be held on 06.04.2022. However, no steps have been taken so far.
2. It is stated that the Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department as the respondent has been unnecessarily impleaded. Recording the same, the first respondent's name is directed to be deleted and the respondents 2 and 3 be numbered as respondents 1 and 2.

The learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and the learned counsel for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that a Committee has been constituted and is in consultation with the Archaeological Department and appropriate decision will be taken as to when the Kumbabishekam can be conducted.
4. Considering the fact that there is a matter for consideration on the Committee constituted for the aforesaid purpose, I am inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representations, dated 17.12.2021 and 25.03.2022 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. In case, the work is completed, Kumbabishekam may be held at the earliest. No costs.
